I've completed the first draft of a Visitor's Map for review (and yes, I know The Bend's address is incorrect - it's just a placeholder).
A couple of issues to be aware of:
1) Union is an odd shape making it difficult to fit onto a printer-friendly letter-sized sheet all the way to Twanoh, and have some detail of the actual town area. I've balanced things as best as I can to give us enough detail to give directions well AND show most business locations.
2) Not all of us can be on the map without it becoming too cluttered and confusing to use. Therefore I've focused on what I'm thinking of as "foundation" business locations that will serve all of us as major location landmarks, while at the same time trying to design a format that will allow each of us individually to customize things with a small sticker or somesuch if we like.
3) I'm still working on a design for the reverse side that will work both as trifold panels AND a logo-based business directory per our previous discussion.
